WHIPPY! a good day. No chemo just flushing with standard IV fluid. Still nauseas but getting used to it. The oncologist came by and I was able to ask the important questions. In short and in Dutch & English:
“heel goed kans dat ie weg is in september”
“very good chance that it is all gone in September”
“dit soort tumoren reageren heel heel heel erg goed op chemo”
“these kind of tumors react very very well to chemo”
And also: I CAN GO HOME TODAY!. They tubo charged the pump to flush the chemo out so i can be out at 10 tonite. Looking forward to that. Will need to keep an eye on my rest, still pretty weak.
So the the first part of round one is almost over. Still 3 rounds to go but we’ll worry about that later. Watch the video to hear this and what wll happen when some thing is still there after the the treatment.
Thursday June 26th i will need to go back for 1 bag of chemo and also 1 small one on Juli 3rd. Wednesday Juli 9th round two will start. They told me the will put me on better anti nausea medication then. They didn’t give it right away cuz they didn’t know if i needed it and its pretty costly. So I have to suffer to make sure they don’t spend too much money? I guess thats the medical industry.
On an other note. My best friend Sander van Boxtel made a nice video last weekend. It starts with a fraternity mixer and then crashed a party and filmed everybody there. I wonder if he fell on the way home…. you tjek it out, it is called: “A Big Kiss for Maarten”.
