We’ll be in France for next ten days. Today we’ll fly to Marseille and rent a car to drive to Ribiers, where my uncle has a house. Its in the mountains and supposedly is pretty amazing. A house with no internet connection…. So no Journey updates or replies to emails.
While we are there I’ll be reading some good books like Neal Stephensons Anathem. Also we will be visiting my cousin who lives in the area. For the rest we are looking forward to some good wining and dining.
The weather looks ok. Highs in the 20s and lows around 4 at night. The house is in the mountains so especially at night it will be chilly. Good practice for the winter.
Pebbles and Freddy will be taken care of. Lori rejected my idea of putting them in a box with lots of food. Our friend Orphan Annie will come and stay in our house and make sure all is ok.
CU in 10 days!

Enjoy! You deserve a good deal of French wining, dining and other analogue pleasures!
Have a fantiatic time – you both deserve a great break!

No updates for a week! So it is true! There is no internet in France, only Minitel! Great that you are having such good times offline. And hanging out at a internet cafe for coffee, beer or wine is not a good excuse.
