So tomorrow they will take a biopsy of the tumor, at 11 in the OLVG. I will do a live twitter feed. My doctor friend helped me with the name of the procedure. I always like to know what might happen. Not that I need to know everything in detail but I want to get a feel of whats coming.
With the terms “biopt of needle” I found a description of what will happen tomorrow in a general sense. It will be done in 30 minutes of less, think the Pulp Fiction scene where John Travolta saves Uma Therman. Dont like it though. As a man I don’t do physical discomfort well
The best advice also came from my doctor friend. Tomorrow will be trivial. Thursday when we get the results will be D-day. Then we will have an idea what will happen the coming weeks.
I expect to go in pretty quickly for the real operation to have the thing cut out. Benign or not. I feel the pressure in my chest now and breathing is getting more difficult. We’ll see of course.
Its good to be home. We got a great bouquet of flowers form my best friend and partner, and a Buddha statue from our other neighbor. Its amazing how this helps me. I keep getting text messages and DM’s on twitter.

Maarten, all the best and good luck coming days ! We are all with you to support you ! Take care, Yuri
Good luck tomorrow! What a week it will be..
Maarten and Lori,
Good luck today. Just let it happen, you can’t change it now.
keep it up,

I wish you both all the strength and faith in the world. Keep believing in the good and all will be fine eventually.
